It's Friday, Time for Freaky Fatwa's....so perverted

A Muslim ask a scholar

I have a nephew who is 8 years old and once he came to me and asked me, who are the Shia? I did not know what to say to him but I told him he would know when he grew up. But he did not like this answer. After my other nephew, who is ten years old, told him “I am Sunni” he answered him by saying “I am Shia!” How can I answer him in a way that is appropriate to his age and will convince him?

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allah.

If a child asks about the Shia, he can be told that these are people who are not good, they commit sins and do wrong things, and they slander the companions and wives of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who are the best of people after the Prophets, and we do not like them because of that. If he has seen them on TV touching graves or celebrating ‘Ashoora’, he can be told that what they are doing is not permissible, and we do not worship anyone but Allah alone; we do not prostrate to any grave or to any of His creation, and we do not strike ourselves or our children. Thus the child will understand that these people are not good, rather they are erring and deviating. The information given to a child should suit his level of understanding.
Train em to hate early on...can't believe it

In order to correct what has happened, it should be said to the child: We are Sunnis, we follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and we do not introduce innovations into our religion. We do not do what these people do. If the child is able to watch some of the wrong actions of the Shia, this should be accompanied by clear warnings about them. You can also look at trustworthy websites that warn against the Shia and explain why they are misguided.
And I will add this; after Muhammad was killed there was a huge problem as to who would lead these first believers in one God. Those who followed Abu Bakr, the father of Aiesha, were called Sunni. Those who thought Ali should lead (a relative of Muhammad) were called Shia. Both have been battling it out for 1400 years for the title of….the religion of peace and tolerance.
And Allah knows best
ya think?

A Muslim asks a scholar

I am a Muslim Arab university student in the United States. I am married and am working temporarily in the distribution centre of a local daily newspaper until I graduate and return to my country, because my family and I need the money urgently and there are few opportunities for halaal work in this country. Is it permissible to work in newspaper distribution?

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allah.
Firstly:
Here we go again with the firstly….translation for; we got nothing.
There is evidence which shows that it is obligatory to denounce evil, and the one who remains silent or approves of it is criticized, so how about the one who helps with it!

Hence a number of scholars stated that it is haraam (forbidden) to sell anything that helps one to commit sin. Ibn Qudaamah said: To sum up, selling juice to one who it is thought will use it to make alcohol is haraam (but not in the Quran). Then he said: The same ruling applies to everything that is intended for haraam purposes, such as selling weapons to those who are at war with the Muslims, or will use them for banditry or to create turmoil, or selling slave women to be used as singing girls, or to be hired out for that purpose, or renting one's house to be used for selling alcohol or to be used as a church or Zoroastrian temple, and so on. This is haraam, and the contract is invalid. End quote.
Maybe someone should explain that distributing a news paper is not the same as selling weapons or slaves.

It says in al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah (9/213): The majority are of the view that everything that is intended for haraam purposes, and everything that will be used for sin, is haraam. It is forbidden to sell anything which it is known that the purchaser intends to use it for something that is not permissible. End quote.
In other words, the last thing they want is an educated believer.  As far as these scholars are concerned they should be their only source of information.  The young guns know what I mean.  They want freedom and they want their country back.  Rock on with your struggle (jihad) and kick some ass!

Secondly:

It is well known that the newspapers in that country contain some permissible things, such as news or articles or scientific information, but they also contain many haraam things, such as indecent pictures and advertisements for brothels, nightclubs, alcohol and gambling etc. These haraam things are many and they are the purpose for which many people buy those newspapers and so on, so it is not permissible to help in distributing them.
What kind of freaky newspapers are these scholars reading?  Perverts.

May Allah help us and you to do that which He loves and which pleases Him.
And Allah knows best.
Which is why none of that silly crap is in the Quran.  These fatwa's are designed to oppress their followers.  They will all end up in the Hellfire and I'll have to feed them and I ain't gonna have enough fruit.  So if you believe in one God it's your job to fight these oppressors.
And allah knows best
Hoping the angels tell Allah about the pervs.

A Muslim asks a scholar

On one of the days of Ramadan, I kissed a small child on his mouth. My question is: I do not remember whether any of the child's saliva entered my mouth or not, and if it did enter my mouth I think it is most likely that I did not realise that this action breaks the fast, because I think that if I had known that I would not have done that action. Do I have to make up those days?

And the scholar

Praise be to Allah.

Your fast is valid and you do not have to make up anything, because you are not certain as to whether you swallowed any of this child's saliva, and an act of worship cannot be invalidated in the case of uncertainty. Even if we assume that you did swallow some of it, you do not have to do anything because you were unaware that this invalidates the fast.
Ok, so that grossed me out.  I’m done now
And Allah knows best
you wouldn’t know it by those answers.

Interesting Saudi news stories, a woman's word is half that of a man and..is your man an original?

The defense…a woman’s word is half that of a man.

The court of cassation has upheld the death sentence for an Emirati who killed his friend in 2009.

The sentence was already upheld twice by the Abu Dhabi Court of Appeals. Now President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, must approve the ruling for the execution order to be carried out, reported 'The National'.

AS, was 19 years old when he shot and killed his classmate, RAS, 17, in a dispute over a woman in Musala Al Eid in Abu Dhabi on Januray 19, 2009.

The two men met on the day of the killing near Marina Mall where they were joined by a female Emirati friend and two other male friends. Then they drove towards the Musala Al Eid area when AS pointed a gun at the female friend, who ran away. He followed her and convinced her he was joking. When she returned, AS shot RAS in the back of the head.  AS claimed he fired in self-defence after RAS pulled out a pocketknife.

Defence lawyers denied the killing was premeditated and questioned the woman’s integrity as a witness. The lawyers also argued that their client should not receive the death sentence because the main witness was a woman and her testimony was insufficient because Islamic law required two male witnesses, or at least one male and two females, in murder cases.

One of the man’s two lawyers told the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court of First Instance in August 2009. “The testimony of women is not acceptable when it comes to blood,”
Seriously, there are actually people in the USA who believe that one day we will fall under this Sharia law...then someone reminds them that the USA does have more smart people than scared people.  Hoping the Arabians get their smarts on, too.

Saudi spinsters or mixed marriage?
By Nadim Kawach Published Saturday, January 22, 2011

Saudi Arabia is considering enactment of a legislation to ease curbs on mixed marriage and encourage local women to have foreign spouses following a surge in the number of spinsters, officials have said.

The Shura council (the Gulf kingdom’s appointed parliament) is studying a draft law to end long-standing restrictions on mixed marriage that has drawn criticism from officials and tribal leaders over the past years.

The draft law, studied by the Shura’s Social Committee, is considered a policy turnaround in the conservative Muslim nation and reverses recent official proposals to introduce tougher curbs on mixed marriage.

“We are studying the law which will encourage Saudi women to have foreign husbands according to regulations that will fully guarantee their rights,” said Abdul Rahman Suwailim, a member of the Social Committee.

“The law is still under consideration and we are working to ensure it will be comprehensive…we will publicize the draft law once it is completed,” he said, quoted by the Saudi Arabic language daily 'Shams'.

Suwailim said the draft law was prompted by a surge in the number of spinsters in Saudi Arabia, the largest Arab economy and the world’s oil basin.

“Spinsterhood is a worrying phenomenon in the kingdom…we are studying this problem and will publish full details about it soon,” he said.

Citing private statistics, Shams said Saudi Arabia had around 1.8 million unmarried national women above 30 years old and that their number could exceed four million in the next four years.

It attributed the problem to the fact that many Saudi men prefer foreign wives despite the existing curbs due to the high wedding expenses and dowries demanded by national spouses.

Another reason is the high divorce rate among Saudis, standing at 18,000 cases in 2010, nearly 30 per cent of the total 60,000 marriages last year.

The new draft law is a reversal of a recent tendency by Riyadh to introduce harsher laws against mixed marriage. The kingdom, which controls over 20 per cent of the world’s oil, already enforces controls governing the marriage of Saudis with foreigners.

According to the Saudi media, the Shura considered a draft law in 2010 to impose a fine of up to SR100,000 (Dh99,000) and other penalties against Saudis who have foreign spouses. The law was to be ratified by the Monarch.

The newspapers said the draft law faced reservations from the country’s Human Rights Commission, which has demanded the cancellation of the proposal to deprive those involved in mixed marriage from government loans because such a move will also affect the relatives of the spouse.
Unusually odd problems can have the simplest solutions.

Love hurts

When a newly-engaged Saudi decided to visit his fiancé at home after missing her, the last thing he had apparently thought about it was to get a big smack from her family.

A few minutes after a warm meeting with his would-be wife at the sitting room in her house in the western town of Taif, her father and six of his sons stormed in and chased their would-be in-law out.

The frightened man had no choice but to escape into the toilet and lock himself in. There, he phoned the police with his mobile and begged them to come fast before it is too late.

But it was too late indeed. The attackers succeeded in smashing the toilet’s door and pulling the Romeo out.

“They used their fists, legs and sticks to give him a big smack, inflicting severe injuries on him before the police arrived,” Sabq Arabic language newspaper reported on Tuesday.

“He was hospitalised for treatment of injuries to his head and body…police arrested the father and two sons while four others managed to flee police are still searching for them.”

The paper said the father claimed that they mistook his daughter’s fiancé for a stranger. It did not make clear if the smacked Romeo would still stick to his fiancé.
Oh that just sounds like an old fashioned desert Arab bachelor party...

Wives…beware of joking with husbands

Husband marries again after wife texts break-up message
A Saudi woman who wanted to joke with her husband got the shock of her life when she learned her joke has only made him marry again.

The unidentified wife wanted to wish her husband a happy new Muslim Hijri year but decided to mix the greeting with a heavy joke.

“She texted his mobile saying ‘I am leaving and you won’t see my face again…happy new year,” Aljazeera daily said on Tuesday.

“Her husband, who works far away, thought she was serious…he consulted with friends, who advised him to get married again….he listened to them and married…a few days later, his first wife phoned him to make sure he is ok only to find out what he has done…she was shocked and told him she was just joking.”

But the husband replied that he was not joking, the paper added, without identify the couple, who live in the central town of Onaiza
That's not helping the spinster/unmarried women problem.  Time to dump the Sharia laughing law, too.

Court annuls marriage of 'unoriginal' husband
By Staff Published Friday, January 21, 2011

A Saudi court annulled a marriage of a local couple after the bride’s cousin objected on the grounds the husband is not original, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Friday.

The bride’s parents in the central town of Madina refused pleas by her cousin to reject the bridegroom and went ahead with the marriage, Sharq daily said.

“The marriage was done without the cousin’s knowledge, prompting him to go to court on the grounds the bridegroom is not original,” the paper said.

“The judge supported his plea and abolished the marriage, saying it was not based on compatibility of relationships.”

The paper did not elaborate but most Saudi families prefer their daughter to marry from their own tribe.
Still laughing....

Bridegroom turns out to be mentally ill
By Staff Published Sunday, January 23, 2011

A Saudi bride who waited impatiently to see her bridegroom got the shock of her life when he walked in for the wedding clutching his father’s hand like a child. Only then she knew he was a mentally retarded person.

The bride, in her 20s, burst into crying and quickly asked for a divorce as hundreds of guests stared in disbelief at the bridegroom who the bride met for the first time, the Arabic language Sharq newspaper reported from the eastern province of Ihsaa on Sunday.

“Her father could not ask about the bridegroom before marriage as he was in jail… her mother was also unable to see him as she was ill,” the paper said.

“When she saw the bridegroom holding his father’s hand like a child, she started to cry hysterically… when she came round, she asked for divorce,” the paper added, without saying whether she was divorced.
Very interesting news stories.

Man beats wife after delivering girl
By Staff Published Thursday, January 27, 2011

An Arab expatriate in Saudi Arabia stormed into the gynecology section in a hospital, woke up his wife and beat her up for delivering a baby girl, newspapers reported on Thursday. The unnamed husband was later overpowered and taken out by staff members and security at the hospital in the central town of Makkah.

He then accused the hospital of swapping his baby as his wife had told him previous x-rays had shown she was pregnant with a boy.  But doctors tried to calm him down and told him x-rays are not always accurate in identifying the sex of the baby.
4 million and one possible Saudi spinsters.

And you all know how I love my stories of the Jinn

Genies blamed for girl’s disappearance
By Staff Published Thursday, February 10, 2011

After a visit to Koran reciters, she had to be carried out as she appeared to be in a trance. A Yemeni girl has been missing for nearly a month in Saudi Arabia and her family believe she could have been snatched by jinn (genies), a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The 23-year-old girl stepped out of her house in a mountainous village near the western town of Taif and never returned, prompting a massive police search campaign, Sabq Arabic language daily said.

“Some people told police they saw her walking on a hill not far from her house then vanished again,” the paper said.

“Her brothers and some residents in the village said she sometimes appears at night and then suddenly disappears…they told police that they believe she has been haunted and taken by jinn.”

The paper quoted her brother, Ahmed Ali, as saying his sister ran away from home a year ago but was found at another house on the same day. He said his sister had been nervous and moody but had no problems with the family just before she vanished again.

“On that day, she was with my other sisters washing in the second floor of the house…she then went down to the ground floor…my sisters waited for her but she never came back,” he said.

“Before she vanished, we used to take her to some Koran reciters and scholars…she used to walk into their places but we had to carry her on our way out as she appeared to be in a trance…a red fluid sometimes oozed out of her ears and noses…it was not blood and it had a strange smell…some scholars told us that she is haunted and others said she is under jinn guardianship.”

Gotta wonder why the Jinn only take females from Saudi Arabia...perhaps they are feminist Jinn.

Fridays Freaky Fatwa--WE the PEOPLE

A Muslim asks a scholar

What is the ruling on saying that rule belongs to the people or that wealth belongs to the people?

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allah.
These words are a fabrication and those who fabricated them are liars in their claim. They do not implement that themselves by surrendering their opinion to the opinion of the people, not even in a single case. This is a deceitful slogan aimed at cheating the people who seek relief from one oppressive regime, only to be cheated by a second oppressive regime.
Translation…don’t trust your leaders or the imams if they believe this crap.

In fact, people should be protected and respected; they should enjoy justice and sanctity in every sense of the word.
The people seem to need protection and respect from their current leaders.

They should not be driven like cattle. But it is not permissible to accept these slogans as is. Rule belongs to Allah and the masses must be directed in the light of His Revelation and ruled according to sharia. Allah says:
5:50 “Do they then seek the judgement of Ignorance? And who is better in judgement than Allah for a people who have firm Faith”
In God we trust but we still want the vote

6:57 “The decision is only for Allah”
Tell that to the leaders of Pakistan, Bahrain, Afghansitan, Libya, Iran, KSA, Egypt. Btw, that aya has nothing to do with voting ----or term limits.

We should not say, “the rule is for the people,” because those who lead the people according to their own whims and desires are those with materialistic ideologies or idolatrous principles that go against what Allah has revealed, and impose their own authority by force under these devious, fabricated slogans.
That is not what the Quran says! The rule IS for the people! Which is why the vote is so important…and term limits! Must have term limits!

Similarly, the “wealth of God” must be spent on the general interests of the believers in one God (Muslims), to protect the believers in one God’s borders (God has borders??) and defend the believers in Gods causes in the east and in the west, above all; to call people to God; to strive to defeat the oppressors and those who transgress against some of the believers in one God.
The oppressors? Like in Iran, Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan? These leaders are the oppressing and must be voted out for the good of the people. For good believers, the will of God IS the will of the people.  God has given you everything you need to be successful...including ideas, bravery and opportunity.

Priority must be given to spending it on areas where need is greatest. It is not permissible for selfish people to take it for themselves, or to spend it on extravagance and immorality, let alone spending it on corrupt and evil things.
We see that these leaders are living well while their people live in poverty. This is wrong and has not helped your countries.  But they continue....

It is not permissible at all to call it “the wealth of the people” because if we accept this, then they will justify doing that, and they will squander a large part of it on preserving their own hold on power, spying and buying people off. Moreover, people vary in how strong or weak they are, how rich or poor, how ignorant or righteous, how resilient or otherwise.
These words are to keep you uneducated and living in poverty. The people are poor, their leaders are corrupt. Is this what the Quran commands? Then again, these scholars are hoping you haven’t read the Quran..or my book.

So how can wealth belong to one who has no need of it because he is wealthy, powerful, knowledgeable or skilled, or to one who should be deprived of it because of his corruption and evil.
That’s the point. Religious leaders have let you down, they have lied and they have used oppression, ignorance and fear to keep you in line. The wealth and the land belong to the people not someone’s twisted idea of God and religion.
They then ask..

10:32 “So after the truth, what else can there be, save error?
Error.
Are Muslim women envied? Do Muslim countries have the best schools for sciences, medicine, research? Have they served you well?
So after the truth what else can there be, except error? Time to change.  Religion is for God, a good government serves the people.

By Shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahmaan al-Doosari.
It is not permissible to say that wealth is the wealth of the people, because that means that the people have the right to dispose of it however they wish.
Yeah, and?
That’s the point! The leaders are not looking after their people. They oppress them and limit education, their newspapers, their religion and their God given rights! Wake up!

But in fact, wealth is the wealth of Allah, and all people must spend it in the ways enjoined by Allah and His Messenger.
The messenger is dead. But when he was alive he had no interest in becoming a king spending lavishly on himself.  Don’t compare these leaders with Muhammad. They are not prophets and they are not dead. But they are taking advantage of your fears and lack of education.  God is all about knowledge!

Rock the vote!

A Muslim asks a scholar

Is the permission of the ruler necessary for jihad for the sake of Allah?

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allaah.
Jihad may be an individual obligation if the enemy attacks of the believers in one God, and in that case fighting them becomes an obligation, and the permission of the ruler is not required in that case.
In other words….Game on! A ruler can be an enemy of the people.

As for jihad that is aimed at conquest and calling those who do not submit to one god (Islam), and fighting those who refuse to submit to the rule of Allah, the permission of the ruler is essential in this case, thus things will be controlled.
That scholar is telling you that all rulers are led by God. Does anyone reading this really believe that?

Ibn Qudaamah said:
The matter of jihad is in the hands of the ruler and his, and the people must obey him in whatever he sees fit with regard to that. End quote.
Open Quote.  Nice mind control going on here. But hey, Ibn is dead. Plus, obeying a stupid leader makes you stupid. You got a brain, use it. What makes a country great? Prayer and a good plan.  Get all your smart people together.

The scholars of the Standing Committee said: we’re tired of standing whilst we make up stupid answers…kidding, I said that. The said..

Jihad to make the word of God supreme and to protect the religion of submitting to one God and make it possible to convey it and spread it and protect its sanctity is an obligation on everyone who is able to do that.
Well, there really aren’t too many countries who do not have believers in one god so…sit down and shut up and knit a sweater. The theory of one God is not new and is not news.  And the quran says NO compulsion in religion.

But it is essential that the troops be organized and sent in an orderly fashion, lest it lead to chaos and incidents that bring unfortunate consequences. Hence initiation of and engagement in jihad is the responsibility of the ruler of the believers in one God, and the scholars must encourage him.
Yes, do you see how these scholars mis-lead even the rulers? Very dangerous. It’s also why they insist you read the Quran in Arabic knowing full well most can’t read Arabic so they can tell you whatever suits themselves.
But even the Quran says that religious rule cannot be the law of the land.

If he initiates the jihad and mobilizes the believers in one God, then the one who is able to do so must respond to the call, sincerely seeking the Countenance of Allah, and in the hope of supporting the truth, and to protect submitting to god. The one who stays behind when the call for jihad is given and has no excuse, is sinning. End quote.
Re-open the damn quote.
What if the jihad is for a stupid idea? Shouldn’t there be a vote? There should always be a vote. A good leader (like the messenger) listened to the people, not the other way around. Religion is personal—to you your religion, to me mine? Government is for ALL the people. No compulsion in religion.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:
It should be noted that appointing a leader to run the people’s affairs is one of the greatest of religious duties, without which no religious or worldly matters can be established.
Oh really? Does religion explain how to fix a clock?
One needs to know more than religion to learn math, run a business or a country…or a camel race. The Quran say education is VERY important for all men and women and it wasn’t’ talking about religious education
.

The Prophet said: “If three people set out on a journey, let them appoint one of them in charge.” Narrated by (this has a long chain) Abu Dawood from the Hadith of Abu Sa’eed and Abu Hurayrah. Imam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr that the Prophet said: “It is not permissible for three people to be in the wilderness without appointing one of them in charge.”
Pfftt...Like no one had ever thought of appointing/electing a leader before? Well, it might have been news to the 7th century desert Arabs.  I still do not understand why these imams want todays believers to live and behave like the first Desert Arab believers.
Probably because stupid people are easy to rule??  Yes, I do believe they think many of you are that stupid.  I don't.

Hence it was narrated that “the ruler is the shadow of Allah on earth” and “Sixty years with an unjust ruler are better than one night without a ruler.” Experience proves that this is so. End quote.
Crap.  Re-open that damn quote.
This is what a creepy, lying, fearful, tyrant imam/scholar will tell you.
They need to be beat with a wooden ruler.  There are always enough good  people to rule.

Find them, support them and don't expect to get everything fixed in 10 minutes.  And don't expect your new leaders to do everything for you, do your part.  Badness has gone on for so long that all of you will have to do many good deeds (volunteer your expertise) but it will be well worth your efforts

Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen said:
'...So it is not permissible for anyone to fight without the permission of the imam, except in the case of defence. If the enemy attacks them suddenly and they are afraid of his evil, then they may defend themselves, because fighting becomes an individual obligation in that case.
Now wasn't that interesting?  The imam rules!  Why?  Because the imam supposedly read and understood the Quran….in Arabic!  Yet the Quran doesn't say one has to read it in Arabic!  Your abuse is due to believing a lie!
The Quran is clear, oppressors suck and you have to fight them even if you don’t like fighting.
These imams are protecting their dress wearing asses.

And Allaah knows best.
Which is why I have bitter fruit :D

A Muslim asks a scholar

Are women allowed to be rulers in the islamic sharia? (i would prefer evidence from the Qur'an).

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
Whenever one of these scholars start out with ‘firstly’ you know they are not going to use the Quran.

We appreciate our brother’s keenness to find out and follow the evidence from the Quran, but there will not necessarily be evidence specifically from the Quran for every issue. Rather the evidence for many rulings is to be found in the hadith not the Quran.
If that were true how did I find this verse in the Quran? Sure didn’t find anything like that in Hadith. Maybe that’s why the Quran says not to follow Hadith?

And the Quran says….27:23 Lo! I found a woman ruling over them, and she hath been given abundance of all things, and hers is a mighty throne.
Now, who are you going to believe, the Quran or a silly unbelieving man in a dress?
Btw, the real (stupid) answer was really, really long but I didn’t want to insult your intelligence so I didn’t post it. Besides, my answer was the only correct one; they didn’t even list 27:23

A Muslim asks a scholar

Is it permissible to rebel against the ruler?

And the scholar replies

There are people who think that because some of the rulers commit acts of sin, we are obliged to rebel against them and attempt to change things even if that results in harming the Muslims in that country, at a time when there are many problems in the Muslim world. What is your opinion?
Praise be to Allaah.
Warding off evil by means of a greater evil is not permitted according to the scholarly consensus.
Are you starting to see a pattern here?  Mind control.  Mind freak though you can use the other F word if you want.

If this group which wants to get rid of this ruler who is openly committing sin is able to do so, and can bring in a good and righteous leader without that leading to greater trouble or a greater evil than the evil of this ruler, then that is We see this happening now.

But if rebellion would result in greater trouble and lead to chaos, oppression and the assassination of people who do not deserve to be assassinated, and other forms of major evil, then that is not permitted.
We've seen that happen too.  But the Quran says that God helps those who fight against injustice, and those who are killed for fighting the oppressors will go to heaven.  Win, winAnd remember, Mubark caved, he backed down.  Allah's will in action.  Brains not bulletsAllah loves the brainy-ith...as they continue...

Rather it is essential to be patient and to hear and obey in matters of good, and to offer sincere advice to the authorities, and to pray that they may be guided to good, and to strive to reduce evil and increase good. This is the correct way which should be followed, because that is in the general interests and because it will reduce evil and increase good, and because this will keep the peace and protect of the believers in one God from a greater evil
And here they back track...'may they be guided to good'?  They've already been 'guided' to bad!  Make the change, be the change.  Allah also like-ith the changers.  Having fun with the old victorian language :D
But I'm telling ya, do not trust a scholar or an imam until he can cite his source!
I can't tell you how many thousands of debates I've won just by using those 3 words.  Cite your source.  It better be from the Quran and in the right context.  Don't be expecting me to believe you're a 7th century Arab trying to protect a dead messenger.  Not buying it.
If you're ever in a debate, try that.

A Muslim asks a scholar

Witchcraft is widespread in our land and they annoy and harm the people. Is it permissible to kill them so that the people will be spared their evil?
Please note that our government allows them to work and takes taxes from them.

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allah.
If it is proven that a person is doing witchcraft then it is obligatory to kill him because of his evil and the harm that he is doing to people.

What is required of those whom Allah has placed in authority over people is to rule them in accordance with that which Allah has revealed. Allah says
5:49 “And so judge you O Muhammad among them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their vain desires”

This had nothing to do with witchcraft or magic. This is a commandment for Muhammad who was confused as to what to do in a particular situation—one that none of you are likely to encounter.  But they quote…

5:44 “And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the disbelievers”
5:45 “And whosoever does not judge by that which Allah has revealed, such are the polytheists and wrongdoers.
So...where does it say to kill the witches???
There is not one verse in the Quran that says to kill witches or those who do magic as believers know that only God can make magic. And they continue with..

“And whosoever does not judge by what Allaah has revealed (then) such (people) are the the rebellious, disobedient, of a lesser degree to Allah”
So you shouldn’t listen to them. They are the true disbelievers, the rebellious, the disobedient. Yet they still try hard to brainwash you….

It is not permissible at all to annul a punishment prescribed in sharia. Even worse and more abhorrent than that is approving of the haraam deed and allowing the practitioner of witchcraft to work his magic in return for paying taxes.
Well you know that's a big freaking lie.  As the Quran says..Bring forth your proof.  Oh right, you can't.  It's a lie.
The Quran says that assigning partners with Gold is the worst and most abhorrent deed.  I guess he missed that part. He won’t be liking my fruit
.

This is a betrayal of trust which the ruler will be asked about on the Day of Resurrection, the Day on which he will bite his hand in regret, but it will be to no avail. Allah says: 28. ‘Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so and so as a an intimate friend!
Yes indeed! Watch out for so and so!

25:27-29. “He indeed led me astray from the Reminder of this Quran after it had come to me. And Satan is to man ever a deserter in the hour of need.’”
Choose your religious leaders with care and knowledge. Chose your countries leaders by their good deeds, patience and tolerance towards others. It only makes sense. But don't trust so and so.

The scholars of the Standing Committee said: can we sit?
Kidding…they said…

The one whose job it is to establish proof of witchcraft and carry out those punishments is the ruler who is in charge of the Muslims’ affairs, so as to ward off evil and to close the door to chaos.
Again we see the standing commission lying as they sit or stand. Maybe they’re really Shia and want chaos so the 12th imam will return :D

My advice, enjoy Chris Angel who is an awesome magician, if he freaks you out you’re not allowed to hurt him…unless you’re an unbeliever.

Here's one of his mind freaks

Bet that freaked some of you out...woulda knocked the sand out of a 7th century desert Arab.  And back to fatwas

A Muslim asks a scholar

If the ruler of a state is neglecting the Sunnah (Sunni traditions of Muhammad), and he does not call the people to offer this prayer when there is no rain or the wells have dried up, is it permissible for the imaam of one of the mosques in that country to call the people of his city to offer the prayer for rain and for them to go out on their own to offer this prayer?

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allah.
If the people of a city are not ordered by their ruler to offer the Eid prayers or prayers for rain, then it is prescribed for them to offer the Eid prayer and prayers for rain in the desert (outside the city) if that is possible, or else in the mosques, because the Messenger prescribed that for his ummah.
Eid prayer is fard kafaayah (Important Arabic word which means; if some members of the community undertake this duty, the rest are free from blame, but if no one does it, all will be held to blame---good one, yes?) so it is not permissible for the Muslims in any city to neglect it. Some of the scholars said that it is an individual obligation like prayers, because the Messenger of Allah did it and ordered others to do it.
Ok. Based on what I just read…IF someone asked for rain and it magically rained wouldn’t they then be killed for witchcraft?

Oh and then there’s this Hadith, I have it in my book. A dumb 7th century Arab asked Muhammad for rain and Muhammad made it happen. The town flooded.

At the end of the day all humans live in god’s (or by whatever name you use) head/world/planet and the rules don’t seem complicated unless you live for drama.
You could have all been made the same. That’s what the words say and the rules are simple. Charity, prayer, kindness, tolerance, forgiveness and love --and submit your souls and lives for the sake and love of your Allah, Godly G-d. A rose by any other name, right, is still a rose.
If one speaks Mexican the other Greek. Ima thinking an almighty would understand all languages.
And the all mighty, all knowing would know that In God you trust, but you were made different with different purposes.  Collectively, you are…

We the People…..

After all the God words, those 3 words are the most important words for the human experience. We the people, collectively and individually have the god given right to be who you were meant to be.

We the people…

Have seen and have lived by way of religious leaders for many hundreds of years and so far, it has not worked out so well.
If you trust in the words-- which do say and do mean, --each human was created for a purpose and as not all humans are the same it’s only obvious that this journey of life given by God is an individual journey and that is true for...

We the people….

We do not mind if others disagree as we are each on an individual journey as humans with a purpose and we know if that's to work for us then it has to work for….We the People. Very empowering words.

You see the signs. They are not magic, it is Gods will and command
and you will get support from the World.

Make it work people

Secret Valentine and Happy Birthday Muhammad

Iran shops banned from selling Valentine's Day gifts

By AFP Published Monday, January 03, 2011

Legal action threatened against anyone violating the ban.  Valentine's Day is increasingly popular in Iran….but…

Shops in Iran have been banned from selling Valentine cards and gifts as the traditional lovers' day gains increasing popularity in the Islamic republic, the ILNA news agency reported.
.
"In the run up to Valentine's Day on Feb. 14 the printing works owners' union issued a directive banning the printing and distribution of any goods promoting this day," ILNA news agency reported.

"Printing and producing any goods related to this day including posters, boxes and cards emblazoned with hearts or half-hearts, red roses and any activities promoting this day are banned," the union said in the directive.
Posters and cards with couples arguing and fighting will still be sold.

"Outlets that violate this will be legally dealt with," it warned.  Over the past three decades Iran's conservative Islamic regime has sought to prevent the spread of Western culture among its overwhelmingly young population.
Because yes, love is a western thing...ha

But Valentine's Day has become very popular in Iran over the past decade, with young men and women exchanging chocolate, flowers, perfume, teddy bears and other gifts on Feb. 14.  Every year, gift shops in large cities are festooned with Valentine's Day paraphernalia and restaurants in Tehran are packed with young men and women out on a date.
Aw I think they should all have an old fashioned 'Love In'.

However, the trend has been harshly criticized by conservatives who see no room in Islamic culture for such celebrations.
Pfffttt....that's cos everyone knows they can't get a date.

Now this next story I found absurdly funny, and you know how I like the funny :D

Happy Birthday Muhammad
By Staff Published Tuesday, January 18, 2011
Most hotels across the UAE have moved their special Valentine's Day dining offers to February 13 as Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing confirmed hotels would not be allowed to serve alcohol on the 14th.
But they are allowed to serve alcohol on the 15th which is...

The birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PartyBoy-U-Holla!) falls on February 15, so it is considered illegal to serve alcohol the day before, reported 'The National'.

The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority also confirmed that 14th will be a dry night in the capital. Hotels big and small are shifting their celebrations to the 13th and 15th, and some are offering special packages throughout the month.
Aditi Daga, spokeswoman for InterContinental Dubai, Festival City Hotel, was quoted as saying: “We have moved some of our dining offers to the previous day, Sunday."

The hotel offers a Dh50,000-package throughout the month, which includes a limo pick-up, and a boat ride to the hotel, a spa treatment in private suites, along with caviar. The champagne available on other days will be replaced on the 14th with sparkling grape juice.
I woulda thought sparkling Zam Zam water but whatever

The Renaissance Dubai Hotel said alcohol would not be served for 24 hours from 6pm on the 14th. It plans to celebrate on 13th and the 15th, with an option on the 14th that does not include alcohol or live entertainment.

You might be wondering why the day before Muhammad's birthday drinking and merriment is illegal and that would be a logical question.  And the logical answer is, you might drink too much on the 14th, wake up with a hang-over and forget it's his birthday.

Seriously, their are many Hadith that tell of how much Muhammad enjoyed celebrations especially those of other cultures.  He enjoyed their music, their dance, their food, and their stories.  Especially if they weren't trying to kill him.  Trying to persuade people to trade their many gods for one wasn't always a fun job.  A good party with good people was always a welcomed good time.
Abu Bakr and the boys were afraid of music, celebrations and women. Seems many of these bushy faced, dress wearing fun hatin' mullahs and imams prefer to imitate them.  If you read the last fatwa you know that loving a woman is sick, sick, sick.

I hope they all watch the following video (one my favourites)
the end should freak them out :D

Not many believers understand the Quran

Few mosques deliver the Friday prayer in their languagesBy Staff Published Tuesday, February 08, 2011

Muslim expatriates in the Gulf say there are few mosques that deliver Friday sermons (khutbah) in their languages.

In Saudi they say all mosques deliver the khutbah in Arabic.

"The whole point of a sermon is to understand and spread the word of Allah, but it seems no one cares enough to delve into the matter. People repeat verses or utter 'Ameen' without understanding what is being said. It has become a formality that they just want to get over with. That is not the purpose or way of preaching submitting to one God (Islam)," Indian expatriate Hannah told Arab News.
I believe it's important to know what you believe in.

The khutbah is used to preach about submitting to one God (Islamic) issues during Friday prayer. The expatriate population in Saudi Arabia was 8.4 million as of August 2010, compared to 18.7 million Saudis, according to General Statistics Department of the Ministry of Economy and Planning.

“Most expatriates do not understand or speak Arabic. No one thinks about these 8.4 million people who are hampered by language barriers. We all want to learn about submitting to one God (Islam), the difference is no one wants to walk that extra mile and help us to connect with society,” Indian expatriate Hussein told Arab News.

“At the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), mosques used to be full of knowledgeable and meaningful debates about submitting to one God (Islam). The purpose of the khutbah is defeated because most of us do not understand a word but we go (to the mosque) because we are obliged to.”
That explains all the confusion when it comes to submitting to one God (Islam)

Other countries in the Middle East where Arabic is the first language have mosques that deliver Friday sermons in English. Shaista, a Pakistani national, said: "When I lived in Dubai, our whole family and children would make it a ritual duty to go to the mosque where the khutbah was delivered in English every Friday. It was enlightening and taught us so much more about submitting to one God (Islam)."
As I pointed out in last weeks Friday Fatwa, the Quran doesn't say that prayers must be in Arabic.  It does say that it had to be made simple...for the Arabs.

Middle Eastern society experienced profound changes in the 19th century due to the impact of European expansion. In time, ideas about politics changed as technology advanced and a diverse culture was introduced. Mixed marriages and foreign minds began to infiltrate Arab society.

Bangladeshis, Indians, Indonesians, Pakistanis, Filipinos and Africans started to make their presence felt in the labor force. However, Arabic is not the first language of any of these nationalities. English is a common second language spoken by nurses, assistants and salesmen in contrast to Arabic.

“Society should cater to others’ needs and instill a sense of unity at the mosque, as the purpose of religion is to come together to share the same beliefs and follow them. It is unfair to hear talk about equality and brotherhood at the khutbah when none of the brothers cares to ensure his expatriate brothers even understand what is being said. Submitting to one God (Islam) is not limited to one language,” said Mohammed, a Filipino.
So very true.

Lubna, a local Saudi said: “We all know the best way to preach submitting to one God (Islam) is through compassionate dialogue. If the Arabic khutbah has been going on for centuries, we must adapt it to our culture so our believers in one God (Muslim) brothers and sisters in the country can also follow the message of submitting to one God (Islam).”
And it should start with dumping the selective Arabic words.

Young male expatriates told Arab News most of them do not understand the khutbah but nevertheless attend the Friday prayer because it is a submitting to one God (Islamic) duty.
I think they'll finally find out that they are not the only one's who believe in one God...and that God (Allah) didn't think much of the desert Arabs.

“Even though we don’t understand a word, I make sure I go to listen to the khutbah because it’s obligatory and I do not want to miss out on the rewards from Allah. There is no choice. If there was a choice of a few mosques where they deliver the khutbah in Urdu, then it would be up to us to go,” Indian expatriate Faisal said.

Saira, an Indian expatriate, said: “We have a lot of non-Muslim friends who would be interested in listening to the words of submitting to one God (Islam). However, they are rather stumped by the fact that we do not have access to a sermon in our language and I wish we had a few mosques specifically for us so even if women hear the sermons at home through loudspeakers, they will gather so much more knowledge and wisdom about."
and they'd learn that women are allowed to go to the mosque and that there is no such thing as no mingling law according to the Quran.

This is a good thing...and I told you so :D

Friday Freaky Fatwa--The Quran is in Arabic for a reason

A Muslim asks a scholar

I would like to know what the language of the people of Paradise is. Is it Arabic?

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allaah.
There is no mention in the Quran or in the Hadith – as far as we know – of which language is spoken by the people of Paradise. What is narrated concerning that is a Hadith which is not soundly narrated from our Prophet, and some other reports.

However

It was narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Awsat, al-Haakim, al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Eemaan and others that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allah said: “Love the Arabs for three reasons, because I am an Arab, the Quran is Arabic and the speech of the people of Paradise is Arabic.”

However

Ibn al-Jawzi ruled that this Hadith is fabricated. Al-Dhahabi said: I think that the Hadith is fabricated (mawdoo’). Al-Albaani said in al-Silsilah al-Da’eefah: it is fabricated.

However

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said: Similarly, Abu Ja’far Muhammad ibn ‘Abd-Allaah al-Haafiz al-Koofi, who is known as Mateen, told us: al-‘Ala’ ibn ‘Amr al-Hanafi told us: Yahya ibn Zayd al-Ash’ari told us: Ibn Jurayj told us, from Ibn 'Abbaas that he said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Love the Arabs for three reasons: because I am an Arab, the Qur’aan is Arabic, and the language of the people of Paradise is Arabic.”
Yeah, I’ll bet that hurt your eyeballs.

And the debate continued

Al-Haafiz al-Salafi said: this is a hasan hadeeth. I do not know whether he meant that its isnaad is hasan according to the way of the scholars of hadeeth, or that its text is hasan in general terms. Abu’l-Faraj ibn al-Jawzi mentioned this hadeeth among the mawdoo’ (fabricated) texts and said: al-Tha’labi said: it has no basis. Ibn Hibbaan said: Yahya ibn Zayd narrated unsound ahaadeeth from sound narrators, so it is invalid to quote his reports as evidence. And Allaah knows best.

But it still went back to...

Al-Tabaraani narrated in al-Awsat that Abu Hurayrah said: the Messenger of Allaah said: “I am an Arab, and the Quran is Arabic, and the language of the people of Paradise is Arabic.”

However

Al-Albaani said in al-Silsilah al-Da’eefah said: it is fabricated.

The point is that there is no evidence to show which language is spoken by the people of Paradise. Hence we should refrain from speaking about this issue and not indulge in it, and we should refer knowledge of the matter to Allah, and focus instead on issues that will lead to good deeds in this world
Might have been a good deed to have given the questioner an honest answer, like…I don’t know..

But they end with this..

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah was asked: Is it true that the language of the people of Hell will be Farsi? –which is the language of Iran?
Well, isn’t that an interesting question? This Shaykh is Sunni. Here is a Hadith he should be aware of...

Narrated Abu Huraira
The Prophet said, "The Hour will not be established till my followers copy the deeds of the previous nations and follow them very closely, span by span, and cubit by cubit (inch by inch)." It was said, "O Allah's Apostle! Do you mean by those (nations) the persians and the Byzantines?" The Prophet said, "Who can it be other than they?"
The Persians—Iran-- are Shia.
And Allah knows best.
and has great sense of irony..gotta love it

A Muslim asks a scholar

Is there a difference between Arab Christians and non-Arab Christians?

And the scholar replies

Praise be to Allaah.

There is no difference between Arab Christians and non-Arab Christians
I guess that’s important information. Now you know.

A Muslim asks a scholar

Is it compulsory to learn arabic language for the non-speaker of the language of the moslems?

A the scholar replies

We put the following question to Shaykh ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Jibreen:
Is it obligatory for non-Arabs to learn Arabic?
He, may Allah preserve him, replied as follows: (preserve him? Like Jam?)

They have to learn as much as they need to submit to one God (Islam) purposes, how to pronounce the words and what they mean, such as the Takbeer, al-Faatihah and al-Tasbeehaat – those that are obligatory in the prayer and for other duties.
end quote.
Translation…you only need Arabic to say God is great, 7 verses of the Quran first chapter and remberences of God is great.
And the Shaykh Abd-Allaah ibn Jibreen Knows best.

A Muslim asks a scholar

Is it permissible to hold the Friday prayer in English if the majority of the community does not understand Arabic? Have the scholars agreed on this issue or is there a difference of opinions?

And the scholar (Your Tree) replies

Praise be to Allah. No. The scholars have not agreed on this issue there are still many opinions even though it’s a simple yes or no question.

Some of the scholars said this it is not permitted to translate this and to follow the way of the messenger to maintain and preserve the arabic language and to imitate the first believers.
Other scholars say that is really stupid and prayers should be said in the language of the land.
These opinions are based on the following...

Narrated Anas bin Malik
The Caliph 'Uthman ordered Zaid bin Thabit to write the Quran in the form of a book and said to them. "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit regarding any dialectic arabic utterance of the Quran, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, for the Quran was revealed in this dialect." So they did it.
That was Hadith. The Quran says...

41:44 Had We sent this as a Qur'an in the language other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! not in Arabic and a Messenger who is an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are being called from a place far distant!"

26:198 Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs
26:199 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it.
43:3 We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic, that ye may be able to understand
which makes me wonder if this was only for the Arabs.

46:12 And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.

42:7 Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

29:47 And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to you. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (pagan Arabs): and none but Unbelievers reject our signs

3:84 Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will

I have seen and heard Arabs who believe in one God say that ALL of the verses in the Quran are true and for all time. Would that include these?

9:98 Some of the desert Arabs look upon their payments as a fine, and watch for disasters for you: on them be the disaster of evil: for Allah is He That heareth and knoweth

9:97 The Arabs of the desert are the worst in Unbelief and hypocrisy, and most fitted to be in ignorance of the command which Allah hath sent down to His Messenger. But Allah is All-knowing, All-Wise

9:101 Certain of the desert Arabs round about you are hypocrites, as well as among the Medina folk: they are obstinate in hypocrisy: thou knowest them not: We know them: twice shall We punish them: and in addition shall they be sent to a grievous penalty
Maybe I should ask one of these scholars for the answer.

5 Arabic words that all believers and pagans know by heart.
Islam which means submit to one God
Muslim which means those who submit/believe in one God
Taqiyya which means lie…are the believers in one God allowed to lie? That’s been a huge question.
Sharia which means a path to a watering hole. Do you really need one?
Quran which means recite

This week the riots in Egypt are shaking things up.  Including the words; Muslim Brotherhood.
An Arabic word and an English word. Strange. Keep it all English and it would say…the believers in one God Brotherhood.
I hope the Egyptians realize that religion should not be government.

And again in Pakistan someone is arrested on blasphemy charges. This time it is a young school boy. Will he be killed as was the governor of Pakistan just a few weeks ago because he was against this blasphemous blasphemy law? Will Pakistan be the new land of oppressors and unbelievers?  Should someone tell them that there is no order to punish for blasphemy in the Quran? Even if it’s against Allah.  Because that is the job of a God not the ubelieving human.
The unbelievers have made a messenger more important than God-- and they go unchallenged. I ask, which is the bigger sin?

do a good deed, just because
