I’ve used this aya to shut down every Muslim who feels like an oppressed victim for not being able to go butt up at an airport or wear a Hijab to work or ALL things Sharia.
I hope you can use this fatwa and aya when you stand up for your rights. Pass this on, you never know when it will come in handy….but it will!

A man has become Muslim and he loves Islam and its people, and hates shirk and its people. But he has stayed in his country whose people hate Islam and wage war against it and fights the Muslims. It is too hard for him to leave his homeland so he has not migrated. What is the ruling on that?
And the scholar replies
Praise be to Allaah.
It is haraam (forbidden) for this man to stay in this land, and he must migrate. If he does not do that then let him await the punishment of Allaah, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): This is from the Quran;
4:97 “Verily, as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): ‘In what (condition) were you?’ They reply: ‘We were weak and oppressed on the earth.’ They (angels) say: ‘Was not the earth of Allaah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?’ Such men will find their abode in Hell — what an evil destination!
If this man is able to migrate, then he must migrate to a Muslim country, then the love of the country from which he migrated will disappear from him heart and he will come to love the Muslim land. But if he cannot leave a land that is fighting Islam and its people just because it is his first homeland, this is haraam and it is not permissible for him to stay there…’

Don’t you think we should be reminding all Muslims of this command from Allah? Living with the Infidels will send them to hell. Help an oppressed Muslim out…buy a ticket to Iran and ship them off. It’s the right thing to do.

I have been advised by several Muslims who are knowledgable in Islam against living in a kaffir country (America). I am an American/Arab who has lived in America all my life, but for a few months now, was living in arabic country , however things are getting hard for me to continue living here (lack of income, housing etc) and am considering going back to America, also another strong reason is that the Health care system is better and free for my wife who is ill. Please give me as much a detailed answer from the hadith and quran as you can as I don't know for sure if I should strive to continue living here or go back to America regarding Islam.

The basic principle is that it is haraam to settle among the mushrikeen and in their land. A Muslim should not prefer that which is inferior [i.e., living in a non-Muslim country] to that which is better [living in a Muslim country] unless he has an excuse which permits him to go back.

We advise you, as others have, not to go and live in a kaafir country, unless you are forced to go there temporarily, such as seeking medical treatment that is not readily available in a Muslim country.
Loving the enemies of Allaah is one of the most serious dangers for the Muslim, because loving them implies that one agrees with them and follows them, or at the very least that one does not denounce them, hence the Prophet said, “Whoever loves a people is one of them.”

To win any debate with Muslims living with Infidels, just get them to admit they are being oppressed, then help them out….out of the country.

Is it permissible to eat croissant, which is a type of bread that looks like a crescent? The story of croissant is that a Christian baker shaped it like a crescent, celebrating the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in some battle.

Some Arabic and non-Arabic sources state that this bread was made in the shape of a crescent – the symbol of the Ottoman state – to celebrate the defeat of the Ottoman army at the battle of Vienna at the hands of the Polish army. One of the bakers was the cause of this defeat, as he heard the sound of the Muslims digging to reach the fortified city, so he told the emperor who hastened to prepare a trap for the Muslims, which led to their defeat. That was in 1683 CE.

There is no way to confirm whether the shape of the croissant that is made today is the same as the shape that was made by the Polish baker in 1683 CE. Nowadays it does not even remotely resemble a crescent.
With regard to the sharia ruling on eating this bread, we do not think there is anything wrong with it, in sha Allaah. It is basically halaal in terms of its substance and components, but if alcohol is used in the dough then it is haraam…’
