My conversation with Allah. Part 3 believers, pagans and idols

My first conversation with God/Allah was on a topic that causes many problems. Who to follow? Muhammad or the Quran? Follow the messenger or the message? Which was more important? And are Muhammad’s stories (Hadith) equal to the Quran?

This was such a complex problem that it took 2 conversations. I’ve re-read them both and it’s all perfectly spelled out. The Quran is complete. Do not follow the messenger any farther than the message which IS the Quran.
Only a pagan, unbeliever or a terrorist would still be confused.

My 3rd conversation with Allah is on a subject that is most confusing to believers.

Allah, I said, I have to tell you, you have more problems than just following how a messenger prayed or slept. Too many Muslims (believers in you) don’t know who they should be killing. It’s a big deal when it comes to who is a pagan, an idolater or even a believer!

So, I really need you to clear up some of the crap they believe. After all, it is your words that they are abusing.

And Allah replied; Az, I know you remember back in the day when pagans and heathens were killing and torturing orphans and widows? Humans were either expendable or slaves. Brutal men were marrying dozens of wives and if he didn’t like one, he’d kill her. And the women were just as devious and as bad as the men. There were no laws in this lawless land known as the deserts of Arabia.

For Heaven’s sake, I couldn’t even talk to one of these humans myself. I had to send the angel Gabriel down to intercede and even that took 23 years! And the message had to be in poetic form as these heathens couldn’t remember anything unless it rhymed.

Then it had to be made simple so they’d understand it. And it had to be in their own language so they could figure it out. And it’s a simple message. There is only ONE GOD.

Give me the problem and I will give you the solutions and they will all be from the Quran.

Ok, I said. I have some questions about the prophets. Why is Muhammad only mentioned 4 times when Adam, Noah, Jesus and others are mentioned over 25 times? Right now mischief making Muslims (believers in you) are using ayat’s from the Quran to justify their threats to kill a cartoon artist who drew pictures of Muhammad, and, we have many who believe…can’t believe I have to say this….who believe that Christians and Jews are pagans, idolaters-- kaffrs!

I know they get this from Hadith and I know the Quran forbids Hadith (31:60). But let’s start with Muhammad. I know you never spoke to him directly, but what your thoughts?

And God said;

3:144 Muhammad is no more than an apostle: many were the apostle that passed away before him.
If he died or were slain, will you then turn back (to being pagans or idolaters)?
If any did turn back, it would not hurt God. but God on the other hand will swiftly reward those who serve Him with gratitude

I did not want the desert Arabs to make Muhammad into a god when he died, nor worship him, follow him, or imitate him. I made all humans different for a reason. Each human has a purpose…plus, I get bored easily.

2:23 And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave Muhammad, then produce a sura (chapter) or the like thereof, and call your witnesses beside God if ye are truthful

well they did, they call them Hadith.

47:2 But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the Revelation sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition

well that explains the condition they are in.

48:29 Muhammad is the apostle of God. and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, -but - compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves in prayer, seeking Grace from God and His Good Pleasure.

The confusion lies in who is a believer

2:62 Lo! those who believe and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabaeans whoever believeth in God and the Last Day and doeth right surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve

Well, no doubt the Christians and Jews believe in G-d and the last day, but we really need to deal with the word ‘unbelievers’

33:35 VERILY, for all men and women who have sur¬rendered themselves unto God, and all believing men and believing women, and all truly devout men and truly devout women, and all men and women who are true to their word, and all men and women who are patient in adversity, and all men and women who humble themselves [before God], and all men and women who give in charity, and all self-denying men and self-denying women, and all men and women who are mindful of their chastity, and all men and women who remember God unceasingly: for [all of] them has God readied forgiveness of sins and a mighty reward

Wow, that was great! And they don’t need to label themselves or belong to a goup or call themselves any particular name (as in Jew, Christian, Muslim)

33:38 Hence, no blame whatever attaches to the Prophet for having done what God has ordained for him. Indeed, such was God’s way with those that have passed away aforetime and [remember that] God’s will is always destiny absolute

33:39 and such will always be His way with those who convey God’s messages to the world, and stand in awe of Him, and hold none but God in awe: for none can take count of man’s doings as God does!

33:40 And know, O believers, that Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of God, and the Seal of the Prophets: and God has full knowledge of all things

It’s all very clear to me but there are some who like to cause mischief and will pick out a single word and make a big deal out of it. You just listed an aya that’s often abused because it uses the word SEAL. Many believe the word SEAL means last, even though there is an Arabic word for last and it’s not seal but many believers believe Muhammad would be the last prophet. Is that true?

And God replied….not telling.

But seals are used for all kinds of things. Do you know how many hearts and eyes I’ve sealed? Do you not think I can open them? I can do anything. I’m God. Seal does not mean last in any language. I used the word last over 60 times in the Quran and only used the word seal 16 times. Do you not believe I know the difference between words that I created? Now let’s get on with it. What other issues are the believers having?

I replied, All the believers are having problems with other believers being believers. So I want to ask you, do you believe Christians and Jews are pagans or idolaters?

And God replied; no. I understand the Christians use statutes and a visual reminder but I also know they worship God above all else.

So, I asked, you don’t see Christians as idolaters even though they use statues in the churches?

And again God replied; No. Perhaps they do not know what an idolater is
And God continued with…

6:74 Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error

7:138 We took the Children of Israel with safety across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: "O Moses! fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have." He said: "Surely ye are a people without knowledge

And I remember the story of Moses and how difficult it was for him to deal with idol worshippers, too.

14:35 Remember Abraham said: "O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols

Right! They were all fighting the idol worshippers to get them to drop their idols and go with the One God program!

21:65 Then were they confounded with shame: they said, "Thou knowest full well that these idols do not speak!"

26:71 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them

5:103 It was not God who instituted superstitions like those of a slit-ear she- camel, or a she-camel let loose for free pasture, or idol sacrifices for twin-births in animals, or stallion-camels freed from work: It is blasphemers who invent a lie against God. but most of them lack wisdom.

6:137 Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If God had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions.

17:40 Has then your Lord O pagans! preferred for you sons, and taken for Himself daughters among the angels? Truly ye utter a most dreadful saying!

Yep, killing female babies and only wanting sons was a big issue for them.

6:46 Say: "Think ye, if God took away your hearing and your sight, and sealed up your hearts, who - a god other than God - could restore them to you?" See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); yet they turn aside

Hey, I said, you used the word seal! And that you could unseal!

And Allah continued...

7:101 Such were the towns whose story We thus relate unto thee: There came indeed to them their apostles with clear signs: But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus doth God seal up the hearts of those who reject faith.

So who are the believers?

And God answered

3:114 They believe in God and the last Day, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency, and vie one with another in good works. They are of the righteous

Ok, that’s clear. The Jews and Christians both believe in the last day and now you’re telling the new believers about the last day.

And God said, yes.

42:13 He decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah, and what we inspired to you, and what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: "You shall uphold this one religion, and do not divide it." The idol worshipers will greatly resent what you invite them to do. God redeems to Himself whomever He wills; He guides to Himself only those who totally submit.

4:162 But those of them who are firm in knowledge and the believers believe in that which is revealed unto thee, and that which was revealed before thee, especially the diligent in prayer and those who pay the poor due, the believers in God and the last Day. Upon these We shall bestow immense reward

I’m actually seeing more of this immense reward but it’s mostly on those who are willing to stand up against in justice, but then I see how they are treated and even I have to wonder if it’s too much for them to bear.

2:286 On no soul doth God Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."

Allah then said; I hope I have made it plain and clear that anyone who believes in One God, who does much in charity both in money and time, who prays regularly, who treats all of mankind kindly, they’re good in my book. They’re good in all my books.

And even the unbelievers, the pagans, heathens and idolaters are to be left alone as it is I, God, who knows what’s in their heart.

Now I have to make a like a God and zap off to other worlds. Give Obama my blessings.

Allah had left the building…and will return soon.

Till then, the message seems clear to me. I hope you pass this around to the unbelieving believers. And question or at least challenge those who take a few words out of a sentence, paragraph or story. You’ve read the Friday Freaky Fatwas. See any unity? See all the ways they twist a word?

And the message is the same in all the books from all the messengers. Get Knowledge, take care of your poor and sick, give much in charity and do many good deeds, pray often and be kind and forgiving to one another.
Don't make it complicated.
